Emacs and Ibus in Fedora-21

Yes, I've tried using Emacs' native IME but I find it awkward
to use. Among other reasons is that I have only one good arm/hand
and C-x and C-\ are on opposite sides of the keyboard.  (With
Ibus I use Alt-space.)  I know I can remap the keys but whenever
I've tried to do that I found it hard to find a combination
that was both convenient and not in use by some other mode or
other.

The second reason is that I already have problems with the keys
in emacs being different than other apps for the same functions.
I use CUA mode in Emacs which helps (makes C-x, C-c, C-v act
"normally") but I still am forever trying to search in Emacs with
C-f and in (e.g.) Firefox with C-s.  Having two different key
combos to switch languages will be pretty annoying I'm pretty
sure.

Still, at this point I don't seem to have much other choice.
I have a lot of mixed English/Japanese info in Emacs Org-mode
files so I can't easily migrate to some other editor.
