WIFI dongle stopped working

I have a HP Envy running F21.  THe built in WIFI would not work so I bought a 
dongle from The Pi Hut

This worked straight out of the box.

However, recently I realised it wasn't working, but don't know when it 
stopped. I can't think of anything that could have happened other than 
routine yum updates.

The following is what appears in /var/log/messages if I boot up and then plug 
in the dongle.

I'm very much a non-techy when it comes to linux internals, but it looks to me 
like Linux no longer recognises the device.  Can anyone give a clue why, or 
what I need to do to fix it?
