[fedora-virt] how can i verify that HW extensions are being used?

They get copied to /var/log after successful install so check there ... 
you should see anaconda.log, anaconda.syslog, etc
Mark opened BZ 496298 on the problem so you probably want to add 
yourself on the cc list.
