Read the bug.  Wow.  Bummer.  Well, my VMs actually launch and run.  I have Asterisk running in VM as I write this.  Works great <hand swipe across forehead>.  Answered a phone call.  It is creating new VMs that seem to crash the system.  I am using a slightly newer kernel than shown in the bug report.  Perhaps a developer fixed the complete failure, but there are still remaining issues?  Thank you for the heads up.
