What about other non-x86 arches like ppc, ia64, sparc, etc ?
If it is running big-endian clean, then we can remove the
conditionals entirely rather than just limiting to the two
x86 arches (yes Fedora only does x86, but the secondary
arch teams will still rebuild Fedora on other platforms)
