Hey all, here are some fedora + virt status bits for February.

  Fedora 21
  =========

As mentioned last month, the 'how' and 'when' of Fedora 21 is still up in the
air. Some discussion around a potential schedule is taking place in a FESCO
trac ticket:

https://fedorahosted.org/fesco/ticket/1178

I wouldn't be surprised if an entire cycle is skipped and Fedora 21 is
released at the end of October, but that's mostly conjecture. The only
milestone as of now is an April deadline on 'System Wide Changes'.

On the Fedora.next front, all PRDs have been accepted:

https://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/devel/2014-February/195172.html

The individual working groups are now hammering out what actual changes they
will make.

  virt-manager 1.0.0 released
  ===========================

virt-manager went 1.0 on Feb 14. Major features added since the latest git
snapshot that's already in Fedora 20/rawhide:

- New tool virt-xml: Edit libvirt XML in one shot from the command line:
  http://www.redhat.com/archives/libvir-list/2014-January/msg01226.html
- Improved defaults: qcow2, USB2, host CPU model, guest agent channel, ...
- Introspect command line options like --disk=? or --network=help
- The virt-image tool will be removed before the next release, speak up
  if you have a good reason not to remove it.

Full announcement is here:
https://www.redhat.com/archives/virt-tools-list/2014-February/msg00130.html

Should hit Fedora 20 stable any day now.

  Bugs of note
  ============

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1031696
libvirt-guests.service is broken in F20

An easy libvirt solution was found, and patches are upstream, just need
to backport and build now.

Thanks,
Cole
