Good point, I had completely forgotten about nick registration there.

The IRC ops kindly turned it off for a bit, but it proved to be
necessary because of spammers and other miscreants.  Really
unfortunate situation.

If you guys see someone abusing people in that IRC channel, let the
Fedora IRC ops know.  There are usually one or two around to help
quash major problems.  They also have a group mailing list you can
send email to if needed -- I believe it's irc-support-operators at .
Bring a log if you can.
