Great that you could solve your problem. :) I can't reproduce that configuration here. There's no such entry in my configuration. Therefore, I guess that it's nothing related to Fedora but just a user's configuration issue. Maybe, did you remount /home and have installed another distribution before that could be set this special configuration setting?
