Who is turning on my eth1?

Hi All,

In Xfce 4.4.2, CentOS 5.6, 32 bit, I have a start up script
that turns off eth1 (/sbin/ifdown eth1).

Under Xfce 4.8, SL6 64 bit, eth1 is back on when Xfce settles.
(I can manually run the script to down eth1.)

Anyone have any idea who is doing this?
