xfce 4.10 upgrade problems (Library not found)

Have searched everywhere else... time to go to the horses-mouth

Attempting to upgrade to Xfce 4.10 using
enabled repository containing f17 rpms for 
xfce-4.10http://repos.fedorapeople.org/repos/kevin/xfce-4.10/

Running Fedora 17 (3.84) Xfce spin 
Xfce 4.8
Full update one hour previous
/usr/lib/libxfce4panel-1.0.so.3 (link to

/usr/lib/libxfce4util.so.4 (link to /usr/lib/libxfce4util.so.4.1.1)
exist on system


$sudo yum groupupdate xfce
