You called it.

  wget --no-check-certificate 
https://fedoraproject.org/static/checksums/Fedora-Live-i386-20-CHECKSUM

  wget --no-check-certificate 
https://fedoraproject.org/static/checksums/Fedora-Live-x86_64-20-CHECKSUM

Then the following worked:
   sha256sum -c Fedora-Live-x86_i386-CHECKSUM
   sha256sum -c Fedora-Live-x86_64-20-CHECKSUM
