I'm probibly a bit biased, being a claws-mail user, but both balsa and
geary seem a bit... primitive to me. 

I guess I could come up with a list of things they seem to be lacking,
but not sure how useful that would be. 

IMHO, claws-mail is still the one to stick with for now.
