To whom it may concern:
I wanted to notify you of a small misconfiguration on my part.
I set up a private mirror about 2 weeks ago, and made it live about 4
days after creation. I entered the ASN information, and mistakenly
missed the "serves all clients from the same ASN" option.
I've been monitoring server load and had noticed a fair-sized spike in
traffic. I investigated, and found that I was accidentally serving my
entire ASN.
I am writing to notify you that the mis-configuration has been
corrected, and I am now blocking external connections to my
(intended-to-be) private mirror.
I sincerely apologize for this honest mistake and hope that it has not
caused you, or others any difficulties.
I have reviewed all of my configurations for similar errors.
Please notify me if there are any further steps I need to take to
correct this issue, or if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Scott K Logan
