I think more than a vote, we should discuss about it. Do we want
mentors only to apply the tag on the ticket or to close the tickets of
guys who don't appear any more during the mentoring process? Or do we
want them to do ALL the needed stuff to sponsor a new ambassador?

If we want mentors to sponsor new ambassadors and to approve them to
the ambassadors group we need mentors become sponsors for that group.
In my opinion this should be the goal, once sponsored to the group the
mentor can apply the SPONSORED tag on the ticket and Tuan can welcome
them as FAmA on the ML mailing list. This would be also the way to
avoid the introduction mails from new ambassadors we saw the last days
(in the end it's nothing new, just the same periodic welcome mails as
in the past).
