Streaming sessions

Thats a great point. Look's like they start at $4K, but I imagine this
would be higher one we add in the additional conference rooms. I didn't see
any mention of live-streaming, so that could also add to the cost. If we
try to rent the Teradek unit, we'll still need to factor in the video
cameras that will connect to them; that adds to our rent/borrow costs so it
could end up around the same as paying for these folks to do it for us.

I suppose the question comes down to this: "What is the ROI on spending $4K
or more to capture the Flock sessions and stream them?"

Is USB webcams good enough? Would this cost be better spent on some other
project? Would we get nearly the same use out of just recording the panels
with standard camcorders and transcoding/uploading at a later point; how
much value do we get out of the live stream?

I don't have much experience to offer on these points. My (slightly boring)
company, Brocade, doesn't really use live streaming. Once someone decides
on how they want to proceed, I'll be happy to help work though the details.
