2.6.35.10-74 compilation (and build) problems

I am having another go as well as part of that .config file I attached 
previously was what I used (minus the 'NEW' options for .35 compared to 
.34) to build the .34 version of the kernel with.

Before I ran "make oldconfig", followed by "make menuconfig" (without 
any input or changes) then "rpmbuild ..." after adding the magic 
"x86_64" string at the very top.

Now I am doing the same, but thoroughly scanned through all the options 
after starting "make menuconfig" just to make sure there is nothing 
unset (or wrongly set!). Currently I am doing a build and will see what 
happens - fingers crossed.
