Graphical login impossible after update to "1:gdm-2.31.90-5.fc14.i686" in F14

Just started seeing this in my F14 x86_64 KVM guest, although gdm was last
updated several days ago. An easy workaround seems to be switching to VT2, then
back to VT1, which stops the blinking and lets me log in normally.
