can't set Okular as helper pdf app in Firefox

Seems to work ok for me.

The way it's *supposed* to work, is the KDE sets ENV
$ echo $XDG_DATA_DIRS
/usr/share/kde-settings/kde-
profile/default/share:/usr/local/share:/usr/share

(see  /etc/kde/env/env.sh)

and there is
/usr/share/kde-settings/kde-profile/default/share/applications/defaults.list
/usr/share/kde-settings/kde-profile/default/share/applications/mimeapps.list

(the former generally used by gtk2 apps these days, the latter kde)

So, long-story-short, not sure why firefox isn't using these items for you.
