Network printer not working, how to debug?

FWIW, at work we have a Brother all-in-one, though I don't think it's
the one you have (I can't actually remember and I"m not there at the
moment), but using the drivers downloaded from Brother's web site
both printing and scanning work fine. It's hardwired on our network,
not wireless, but I can't think why that would make any difference.

and oh, BTW, at work I'm using Centos-5.6, not Fedora, so that may also
make a difference.

so, if all else fails, you may have better luck with Brother's drivers.
