XFCE and Rhythmbox and media keys

When I was using Gnome 2 and Gnome 3, the media keys on my Logitech
keyboard "just worked" with Rhythmbox.  I've actually worn through the
top of the pause/play button.

Now that I'm using XFCE, the media buttons don't work. When I look at
the keyboard configuration dialogs, it seems that XFCE is set to use
keyboard shortcuts as program launchers.

Google offers many, many discussions and no good resolution.

Does anyone have media keys working with Rhythmbox and XFCE?
