Fedora-21 firewall advice?

You mentioned that you no longer have to unload/reload kernel modules
with firewalld. But I assume that this is done (in the old system)
by re-starting the firewall service?

I actually found it slightly off-putting that apparently
you no longer have to save new firewalld settings;
I find that re-starting a service actually gives a few moments
to consider if what one is doing is sensible ...
