weather plugin broken again?

By the way, not meant to offend anyone, I remember a college colleague 
of mine that lived in Switzerland a couple of years and he (jokingly) 
noted that the Swiss were 'obsessed with weather forecasts'.
He said: 'they even have a TV channel that's weather forecast 24h'.

Weather forecast desktop plugins look cool but every time I consider 
installing one I realize that I can predict the weather much better myself.
