In that case, shouldn't the badge be year agnostic?
If it should, is Py``Con always in Portland?
No, pycon is not always in Portland, but it will be again next year.
Last year we used an "event specific" python logo with the colors of
PyCon Montreal. This year, there wasn't a Python related pycon logo,
so I used the conference logo instead. It could be subject to change
next year possibly for 2017.
