What is the BKM for installing and running bohdi-server?
/usr/bin/bodhi-init and /usr/bin/bohdi.devinit don't seem to be the trick. This is the latest error when I visted http://localhostL8084/updates
File "/usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages/sqlobject/main.py", line 931, in _init raise SQLObjectNotFound, "The object %s by the ID %s does not exist" % (self.__class__.__name__, self.id) SQLObjectNotFound: The object Release by the ID 4 does not exist Error location in template file '/usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages/bodhi/templates/welcome.kid'
thanks, Doug

Did you set up your sql database first? Did you follow the instructions at [1]?

Thanks,
No, I was following the "Set up a local bodhi development instance" and using sqlite3. The deployment instructions was a big help, thanks again.
On other note, is there any known problem with running bodhi-server on same system as koji server?

Yes, mod_python and mod_wsgi conflict for the versions currently available in updates. If you have a rhel5 server you will need a newer version of mod_python than what is deployed with rhel5. If you have a fedora 12 server you will need to install the mod_wsgi from updates-testing in order to be able to run both at the same time. I recently acquired commit permissions on mod_wsgi so let me know if you run in to any problems with the newest version.
To be clear, to run both koji and bodhi on the same server in the same apache instance you need mod_python > 3.3 and mod_wsgi > 3.1

This is good to know, thanks for figuring this out Josh. I added this to the bodhi FAQ.

This worked great. I now have a single server running koji and bodhi.

Are you getting any "WARNING: there is no transaction in progress" in your apache error logs?
I'm seeing a lot of those messages (approx 1 million lines in 1 week) in our instance and I wasn't sure if it is local modifications or something else.
Thanks, -josh
Sorry for the delay. I have been out of town for a while. I guess you already confirmed this, because I see you committed a new default config. file.
I have these errors as well. As I left my bodhi setup, I was still trying to get it and my local koji instance talking so I can't separate errors from setup issues yet.

Sadly, yes. mod_python and mod_wsgi do not play nice together. However, there may be a workaround, but I don't have a local koji instance to test.

How do I add a user/admin to a local bodhi server? I tried tg-admin toolbox from bodhi source tree but get: KeyError: 'No database configuration found!'

I use the attached code. Basically I try to get a user and if it fails I create it. Same goes for groups.
-josh
Cool, I had to add a password argument to the User() call, but works great! Thanks again.
