Hi,
my software team builds and releases a set of some 30 packages of Grid
Computing related software. We've come a long way from running rpmbuild
by hand, to using mock and recently running and installing our own koji
instance. We're very happy with how koji works, and we're looking at
bodhi right now as an option to manage our releases. That is, running
bodhi as a private instance, separate from the Fedora systems.
We found that bodhi is packaged neatly in fc17, and with some fiddling
we got it to work; but I find that there is very little documentation on
how to set up a private instance (all examples lead to a development
instance meant for the Fedora bodhi) and we're struggling with the
tuning of the system.
Does anybody have some tips or advice on how to continue? We believe the
system has great potential for doing release management. We're certainly
going to contribute some documentation on how to run a private instance
if we succeed.
Thanks,
Dennis van Dok
