Hi everyone,
I would like to apologize for the recent spam coming to this mailing list. It was caused by wrong message acceptance and subscription policy setting of the mailing list on our side.
I have fixed the setting to prevent these kind of spam messages by requiring a list membership to post, and manually approving new members.
Sorry again, Adam

Hi everyone,
Hello,

Is it really necessary to require a list membership to post? Someone could just have a question without the need to subscribe.
Manual approval seems also redundant to me(esp. when non-membership post is allowed), as I consider information in this list public.
Feel free to correct me.
Sorry again, Adam

We don't reject posts from non-subscribers, we just don't approve them automatically. So people can ask. We just need to check if it's not a spam and approve it manually.

Sounds good to me. Do we need to approve manually subscribers themselves to receive mails then?
