Could you try running from the commandline :
'rpm -q javaewah'
Does the result reveal the exact version of javaewah installed on the system ?
Should be javaewah-1.1.6-1.fc26.noarch. If not try installing javaewah and then
launch eclipse once again from the commandline with just the '-clean' option
(only need to do this one time) to see if that resolves the issue.
If javaewah was on the system to begin with, then can you confirm whether the
symbolic link
/usr/share/eclipse/droplets/egit-egit/eclipse/plugins/com.googlecode.javaewah.JavaEWAH_1.1.6.jar
exists and points to a valid location ?
