GPG Key Signing Party during Flock.
by David Duncan
Hi everyone, I want to organize a key signing party for anyone interested. If you can reply to me with your key type, HEX fingerprint, and key size, I'll happily add you to our list and print the list for all participants. The current plan is to organize and verify identities near the time and place of the candy swap. I'll provide more specific details as they become available.
Here is an example of what we are looking to receive before the key signing party:
HEX Fingerprint, key type, key size
davdunc(a)amazon.com,3760CF72691F31E2DCE9F260AC72DA7B40B20EFF, rsa, 3072
If you would like instructions on how to create a gpg key: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/quick-docs/create-gpg-keys/
For the party, bring:
1. Physical attendance (yourself)
2. Positive picture ID
3. A pen/pencil or whatever you'd like to write with.
4. NO computer
Upload the key to the https://keys.openpgp.org/ if you haven't already. We'll use this for the official keyserver for the party as it is the only one with mitigations in place for poisoned signatures.
If you like, you can check your key and the keys in your signature for signature poisoning: https://tech.michaelaltfield.net/2019/07/14/mitigating-poisoned-pgp-certi... and if you find one, I hope you will share your story.

International Candy Swap: Flock 2019 edition
by Justin W. Flory
Hi all! I hope you are looking forward to another awesome year of Flock.
The fourth annual International Candy Swap will take place again at
Flock this year! To sign up, please email me off-list or send me a
Telegram message with the following:
* Name
* FAS account
* Origin country for your candies
* Any food allergies
== What is it??
The International Candy Swap is an annual tradition where Fedorans from
around the world bring local sweets and candies from their home
countries to share with other Fedora contributors. We swap candies and
get to try new goodies that are not normally found in our hometown candy
stores.
Learn something about your fellow community members and indulge in some
yummy sweets at the same time! One evening of the conference, we will
gather for about an hour, while everyone shares what they brought and
explains them before trying them.
In the past, we had:
* German chocolates
* American salt water taffy
* French fruit candies
* Czech/European coconut Fidorkas
* Homemade Indian sweets
* Swedish sour candies
* Australian chocolate koala bears
* And so much more!
I can't wait to see what we will gather this year!

== Who is participating?
Sign-ups will be maintained here:
https://infinote.fedoraproject.org/cgit/infinote/tree/candy-swaps/flock-2...
If you see your name here, you are registered. :)
Start looking for travel-safe candies you can bring to Flock. Don't
forget to contact me with your name, FAS username, what country you will
bring sweets from, and any food allergies you have.
See you in Budapest!
