Fedora 24 L10n Test Day Proposal

Hi, 

Its time to decide the date for Fedora 24 L10n Test Day!! As per Fedora 24 schedule [1],
Alpha Release is on 22nd March and the Software translation deadline falls on 5th April. 

Can we have the Fedora 24 L10n test day on 29th March (Tuesday) ? We will thus have time
to test the ISO for L10n and the test cases. L10n team will have one week time to fix the
translations before 5th April. 

What do you guys think?

We discussed on this topic during G11N FAD [1] as a F24
planning and
came up with following dates.

* 2016-03-01     Alpha Release
* 2016-03-03                   Software L10N QA Test day
* 2016-03-15     Software Translation Deadline
* 2016-03-21                   Software I18N QA Test day   

But number of things change after it. Most important schedule is delayed
by 3 weeks already. Just adding 3 weeks in earlier planned date, how
about 24th March (Thursday)?

Created ticket for planning [2]. Lets list down task need to accomplish
prior test day.

Thank you for your reply Pravin. 

My initial thought was to propose on 24th March (Thursday). But like I mentioned it in my
previous mail, couple of things to be kept in mind are :- 
1. FLTG will need some time to test ISO (L10n specific) and modify test cases etc.. 
2. L10n team will have one more week after Alpha release to finish their work and get
maximum translations for testing. 

Based on FLTG's previous experiences taking in consideration of above points, think
March 29th (Tuesday) could be a better option. L10n team will still have one more week in
hand to fix the translations. 

Waiting for L10n team to comment on the same. Once date is confirmed, shall create the
ticket and wiki page.

As we emphasized in FAD, test preparation by FLTG is important and
enough time must be reserved. Plus, some area will have Easter holiday
at same timing and it will be public holidays btw 25-28 Mar. Counting
those, it would be good to have QA test on 29th March.

Ani, is any unresolved bug list from previous releases, so that we also
can focus to fix them?

create the ticket for the same.

enough time must be reserved. Plus, some area will have Easter holiday
