Hi all,
Yet another one of my spammy mails telling you that we released Ipsilon 0.6.0 today.
This release was mostly a bugfix release, but we have two new features:
- - IdP-initiated single logout for SAML
- - Automatic registration of a Service Provider from ipsilon-client-install
For more information, please see the release page[1] for version 0.6.0.
This was the milestone 4 release, let's work hard towards 1.0!
Patrick

modified lasso and mod_auth_mellon RPM's available for testing (SAML ECP)
by John Dennis
I've been working on SAML ECP support. This has required significant
code modifications in the lasso library and mod_auth_mellon. We plan on
using mod_auth_mellon for Apache's SAML support which will make a web
server with mod_auth_mellon into a SAML SP (Service Provider).
mod_auth_mellon uses the lasso library for it's SAML implementation.
Ipsilon will be one of the IdP's (Identity Providers). Ipsilon also uses
lasso for it's SAML implementation.
I have mod_auth_mellon and Ipsilon working with an ECP client. It's
important I have not introduced regressions into either lasso or
mod_auth_mellon with the ECP modifications. Limited testing on my part
indicates normal Web SSO with SAML continues to work. But we need more
testing and I know Adam is chomping at the bit to exercise the OpenStack
ECP code.
I have prepared F21 scratch builds of both mod_auth_mellon and lasso
that I would like members of our team to exercise. Both are based off
the current mainline of upstream and have had their minor revision
bumped by 1.
It will not surprise me if there are problems lurking, if you find
something please contact me and I'll hop on and diagnose the problem.
Here are the koji builds:
