Hi folks --
I'm starting to edit FWN 173. I'll put all of the beats so far into a page, and we can give beat writers this morning to get any other writing in for this issue. Thanks for another great issue, everyone!

Oisin, I've got the content moved into the 173 page, and the intro written. I'm not sure how to make the magic with saving Nicu's webcomic locally, though, so that remains to be done, as well as linking to the latest issue and moving 172 to the archive.
I have a morning full o' meetings today, so won't be able to do any more on this until noon-ish, but you'll likely get to it before me.

Great, thanks Pascal. I'm still tying up some loose ends here and will push out the final edition. I'll document the steps necessary to put Nicu's comic in the Workflow afterwards.
Best,

Did you have someone for the Announcements beat? I was going to offer but I find myself stranded at the doctor's office with only my phone. Sorry about that guys.

Unfortunately no, and I only saw your message after pushing out #173. We can still add something to the wiki version though. Sorry.
Best wishes,

No, no one volunteered. If you have anything you'd particularly like in there, Paul, I am sure we can fit it in before the issue goes out, but this is pretty close now.

I didn't have anything particular in mind, and I'm sorry that my schedule got screwed up and kept me from helping out earlier. Issue 173 looks great, and thanks to all of you for this valuable resource every week. By the way, I pass this to the entire Red Hat staff via an internal mailing list every week, and I'm sure a lot of people who don't follow Fedora daily elsewhere really get a lot out of the FWN.
