Hi all,
There hasn't been much talk from the group lately, and since it's been two months since our last issue, I figured I'd ask if there were any plans to put out a new edition sometime soon...?

Hi Joel and News Team --
I'm going to have to step down from further Fedora involvement. Since taking on my new job last summer, and taking more responsibility with looking after my father who had a stroke 18 months ago, I simply do not have the time to devote to this any more, unfortunately.
The News team needs someone with a lot more energy and time than I have to rejuvenate it. Its been a great 3+ years and 150 issues with FWN for me. Life changes, and this change gives an opportunity for new leadership for marketing to the world all the great things about Fedora, and for me to focus on life immediately around me.
Thanks for all the great people I've gotten to know in the community and the journey along the way!
Yours in Fedora,

Hello Folks,
Sorry to hear that but anyway we need to move. Thanks for your support Pascal and hope you will join again when you have time. Nice to work with you !
However maintaining the FWN as we did seems more cumbersome. I think there are some ideas to work with the Insight project and make FWN more easy to publish and maintain. Shall we think/ discuss about that idea?
For an example it is always possible to automated those ML post listing. Therefore we can have more attention on the other functions with in fedora we are managing.
With GSoC we can get the infra developed, so that seems this is high time we need to think of such a change.
Sorry to hear that, Pascal. Best of luck to you and your family and thanks for your time as editor.
Buddhika and the group,
If there's a more efficient way to put out FWN, I'm all for it. Since we've been dormant for so long, now would be the time to make any updates we've wanted to.
Quoting off our meetings page, it says that the FWN team will have 'occasional meetings as the need arises'. Perhaps we ought to consider having one of these to discuss potential changes and new directions for the team?

Dear Adam, Joel and Team,
Agree with you.
So seems like we have many things to discuss and set:)
Shall we arrange a meeting. According to the FWN wiki[1], meetings were hosted on Friday. So what about the next coming Friday, will have a meeting and discuss the future path.
Tentative meeting date and time: (usual meeting time) 11th Friday 2012 1300 UTC #fedora-meeting
If the date is acceptable I ll create the meeting wiki page. Therefore please respond. Please forward ideas about the agenda, thanks.
