Dear Jim,
thank you for the rapid answer.
Now I understand that RTC4 work as a conversion for EC1000. But I've still difficulties to make the connection with this card.
First I would ask to you if it's needed an USB connection. Because now I can only connect the EC1000 through wi-fi or ethernet connection. Looking the electronic board I find a usb pin, so I think I could use it if necessary.
I've already the RTC4DL file by the installation package of Cambridge Technology. I put this file into the Windows/SysWOW64 and then I follow the instruction of RTC emulation loader ( CTI installation package ) as you can see in the attached pdf
Then into BeamConstruct I select RTC4 in scanner controller settings and then into the configuration panel the sofware ask me for the correction and firmware files.
So there's the problem. Into the zip dowloaded through your link, I can find the ctb (correction) and the hex (firmware) files, but I think they are related to Scanlab RTC4 controller.
I need this file for my EC1000 controller, it is right? Into the CTI installation directory I've only .xml file both for correction than for firmware files, so i can't select them.
Hope you can help me!!
Thank you very much Francesco

Francesco,
let me answer this in reverse order:
In addition to this, into the scanner section of the project proprieties
of
BeamConstruct I can't find the EC1000 entry. It seems that the software doesn't support it.
When you are using CTIs RTC emulation you needto select RTC4 in scanner controller settings. For BeamConstruct it acts like a RTC4, conversion to EC1000 is done by the emulation layer.
There's a software called RTC emulation loader that ask me to browse into the application's folder that contains the RTC4DLL.dll in order to
replace
it, but i can't find this file into the OpenAPC folders.
RTC4DL is a 3rd party software and therefore not delivered with OpenAPC package. You can download it at http://www.scanlab.de/en/-/products/control_boards/RTC_PC_interface#21065
I'd recommend to put RTC4DLL somewhere into Windows/System32 or Windows/SysWOW64 (depending if you are using a 32 or 64 bit Windows).
