Please give us the AVC messages related to this. The easiest way of doing so
is to run "dmesg | tail" immediately after the command fails.
Probably the same issue as this open 'boog' (the avc should match the
bug).

I relabel the cd devices manually as removable_device_t. Daniel Walsh
said that determining which devices should be labeled removable.. and
which are really fixed disks is still an unsolved problem for policy.
# chcon -t removable_device_t /dev/hdc
