Actually, I'd like something like some retries before going offline (to
get a chance to connect to the other server (round robin scenario) or
once the loadbalancer directs to the online server).
I tried to set offline_timeout to 0 but that seems to never get online
again (anyway there's the addition of the random offset). Set to 1 does
speed up reconnections but still doesn't do what I'd think I want...
