Hmm is it possible that caching of users is not working at all? I tried searching the cache for users and didn't find any. Not sure if I'm doing it wrong.
ldbsearch -H /var/lib/sss/db/cache_example.org.ldb '(objectClass=user)' # returned 0 records # 0 entries # 0 referrals
