I just changed the description for this list on the webpage:
"This list is for discussing and learning how and why to be a
teacher and practitioner of the open source way."
https://fedorahosted.org/mailman/listinfo/tosw
I think that better captures what we are trying to do here.
The handbook is one of the tools that lives on
theopensourceway.org
and might be useful to practitioners and teachers of the open source
way. Other tools can be found on that website, such as:
*
https://www.theopensourceway.org/wiki/Organizing_a_community_-_checklist
*
https://www.theopensourceway.org/wiki/The_Open_Source_Way:Creating_and_nu...
*
https://www.theopensourceway.org/wiki/Great_stories_to_tell
*
https://www.theopensourceway.org/wiki/Data_and_references
*
https://www.theopensourceway.org/wiki/Books_you_should_read
This new description is part of a refreshed goal of bringing active
discussions to this list along the lines of that new topic.
Thoughts? Musings? Beatings?
