Thanks for the kind words. Credit for the success of this event should really be given to Magie, who coordinated the celebration of 15 teams in 7 countries in her capacity as a member of the Linux Day Advisory Council (http://linuxday.org/). She was also the team leader for the Linux Day celebration at the National Computer Center (http://linuxday.bluepoint.com.ph/).
