Hi Liang,

I suggest you to request people to RSVP. The main problem is not about how
many swags or snacks have to be estimated and prepared, but the venue - an
overflow of a venue capacity may impact the fire safety and affect future
application of venues. In extreme cases, the venue provider shuts down the
event immediately when any of their employees spotted that.

Just to remind you, try to get to the venue some days before for testing
internet connectivity. When I was organizing FAD @ Brisbane, I tested my AP
working at my place. However, the AP dropped out to unusable level when I
run that in the venue. I guess the university has logins for internet
connection. You may think out a solution to make internet available to
everyone in the event.

Yeah, we are not sure now, that how many people are attending then.
