Yeah. ;( 

I wish we could more easily target the epel owner(s) of a package. 
Especially in such cases where the Fedora maintainer isn't interested
and doesn't have anything to do with the epel branches. 

Perhaps we could look at implementing a 

$packagename-epel-owner at fedoraproject.org

alias for just the epel branches for a package?

I'll look into that.
