I think changing the following line will do the trick:

+        set_target_properties(opennl PROPERTIES COMPILE_FLAGS "-malign-double")

to

+        set_target_properties(opennl PROPERTIES
+                                                  COMPILE_FLAGS
"-malign-double"
+                                                  SONAME
${OpenNL3_VERSION_MAJOR}.${OpenNL3_VERSION_MINOR}
+                                        )
