Idea: "{Gnome,KDE,Xfce,...} Minimal Desktop" groups

How about a lightweight desktop environment (it would just come with
twm/fvwm or similar plus a terminal - I'm sure this exists already)?
Does it need to be a minimal GNOME or KDE?
