You are welcome to lurk, Larry!  We all value open communication and
transparency quite a bit, and I regularly encourage non-docs-contributors
to join the list and follow along or talk to us.  Anyone can sign up for
the docs mailing list, or any Fedora list, and I think it is great that
you're following along. Please, lurk away and speak up whenever you see fit
:)

We're focusing on FAS, or Fedora Account System, groups in this
discussion.  The FAS groups are used to designate participation in a
specific effort or  give permissions for specific functionality within
Fedora Infrastructure.  Membership in these groups almost always require
sponsorship, usually after some demonstration of fitness for the role and
interest in the group.  My concern is that a lot of people listed as being
in the Docs group aren't actually interested in being a part of that group
any longer .  That isn't a reflection of their skills or an effort to
exclude them from what we are doing; I just want the membership list to
actually reflect the choices these users have already made.
