I'm having problems learning how to add or change functions.
First things first.  I have caused the disappearance or all panels.

When I attempt to add a panel and start over the new panel will only go to
the top of the screen.

How do I get one on the bottom of the page?

The only other problem is how do I, without selecting defaults somewhere,
recreate the panel at the bottom of the screen and with the various items in
the panel as it appears out of the box.

My system is Fedora 10_64 on an ASUS P5Q mother board.  Intel Core 2 at
3.0GHz with 8Gb of ram.  500 Gb SATA harddrive.
