okular vs. landscape

I generate plots in pdf form, which are in landscape.  I have to use acroread to 
print them.  If I use okular, if I choose 'landscape' from the print dialog, it 
prints in portrait.  If I choose portrait, it prints in landscape, but it 
doesn't use the whole image area.  acroread prints perfectly.

Is there any way to make okular work, or some other way to print a damn 
landscape pdf correctly?
