F19 akonadi_imap_resource GSSAPI failures

I just fresh-installed a F19 system, keeping my NFS mounted /home directory.  
Everything has gone well so far with the exception of the connection to my 
Cyrus-IMAPd mail servier with Akonadi/Kmail.  I can no longer connect via 
SASL/GSSAPI.  My mail server shows the following in the mail log:

GSSAPI [SASL(0): successful result: mech PLAIN is too weak]

As I said, my /home directory is and NFS mount, so no changes to my personal 
configuration occurred.

The following cyrus-sasl RPMs are installed in F19:

cyrus-sasl-2.1.26-9.fc19.x86_64
cyrus-sasl-gssapi-2.1.26-9.fc19.x86_64
cyrus-sasl-lib-2.1.26-9.fc19.x86_64
cyrus-sasl-md5-2.1.26-9.fc19.x86_64
cyrus-sasl-plain-2.1.26-9.fc19.x86_64
cyrus-sasl-scram-2.1.26-9.fc19.x86_64

Any ideas where to begin on resolving this issue?  A related BZ is here, 
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=267884 but I don't see any resolution 
there.
