KDE 4.4, anyone got CPU scaling support?

Interesting.. you can run that as a normal user, whereas on my machine
I need to be root. Is your user in other groups other than yourself?

As an aside, looks like the KDE issue is to do with hal being built
without cpu-scaling support..
