Powermac G5 freezes immediately after booting Fedora-16-ppc64-DVD.iso or Fedora-16-ppc64-netinst.iso

Try:

boot: linux video=ofonly

I have successfully done an F16 installation on a G5 multiple times, 
although never with that particular display card.
