F15 Sendmail Problems

1.  "services" can not set sendmail to run on bootup.
It has to be started in

2.  Sendmail dies now and then without any apparent messages

3.  What are these procs doing?

/usr/bin/akonadi_maildir_resource --identifier akonadi_maildir_resource_0
/usr/bin/akonadi_maildispatcher_agent --identifier 
akonadi_maildispatcher_agent
