Any chance making sure dracut is up to date and running dracut -f fixes the problem? I was getting painfully slow boot times when performing upgrades from F14 to F15 (using pre-upgrade) In the end it turned that doing the above solved my problems and F15 boots very quickly now on the systems that were affected. https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=694916
